- Cut in 1/2
- Fork It!
- Cleaned out
I’m pretty sure everyone misses pasta when they first go paleo. How could you not? Spaghetti is truly a delicious classic!
The really easy way to get away from grain based pasta is with the Spaghetti squash!
Seasoned correctly, your whole family should like this stuff.
Super simple and fast to make!
1 Spaghetti squash cut in half
Most sources say lengthwise. I don’t. Scoop out guts if you want
Add a little olive oil inside (2 tbsp?)
- Nuke on High for 8-10 minutes
1 small can of (bad stuff free) tomato sauce
Spice if you want
Handful almonds (30g?)
Substitute for ground meats.
- Simmer your sauce & almonds while the squash is nuking.
- Use a fork to easily loosen the squash from the tough shell
- Poor sauce on top of your spaghetti noodles and eat!
You’ll find yourself going back for the second half of that spaghetti squash. That’s ok though, because this recipe is ridiculously low calorie. Especially when compared to the inflammation & bloat causing conventional wheat noodle spaghetti.

Nice! Wanna try it out, but I’m not sure whether that kind of squash is actually that easy to find in Germany. Have to keep my eyes open.

Spaghetti, Butternut, and sometimes acorn squash are about the only ones I can regularly find at my stores. I think they’re imported from Mexico.
